The year 2026 marked a defining chapter in the gallery’s evolution, as its research expands to embrace the international dimensions of the Japanese avant-garde, with a particular focus on the artistic exchanges that flourished between Japan, Europe, and the United States.
For Art Genève 2027, the gallery aims to present a selection of previously unseen works by Japanese avant-garde artists, including Azuma, Kimura, Miyawaki, Sunagawa, and Shinjo, alongside major works by Japanese artists of the École de Paris, such as Imai, Domoto, and Sugai.
