Une semaine en Galerie: 3 cour de Rohan

15 - 24 October 2026

On the occasion of Une Semaine en Galerie, we are presenting an exhibition dedicated to three major postwar Japanese artists: Hisao Domoto (1928–2013), Kumi Sugai (1919–1996), and Toshimitsu Imai (1928–2002).

Their work holds a distinctive place in the history of postwar abstraction. As key figures at the crossroads of the Japanese avant-garde and European abstraction, these painters played a pivotal role in shaping the art of the second half of the twentieth century.
