At the occasion of Art Genève 2026, we will be pleased to present two exhibitions on two different spaces:

Stand D22 will be dedicated to a group exhibition on major Japanese artists from the New school of Paris : Toshimitsu Imai (1928-2002), Hisao Domoto (1928-2013), Kumi Sugai (1919-1996), Shigeo Shinjo (1945-2014) and Sumiyoshi Akeji (1938-2018).Their work occupy a unique place in the history of postwar abstraction. As vital figures at the crossroads of the Japanese avant-garde and European lyrical abstraction, these painters played a key role in the artistic dialogue between East and West during the second half of the 20th century.

Our second space, stand D22s, will host a SOLO SHOW by Paris based Korean artist SEUNGSOO BAEK (b.1979) in collaboration with Gallery Ditesheim & Maffei Fine Art.

The exhibition will mark the beginning of his representation in Switzerland and the publication of the first monography on the artist.

Seungsoo Baek’s practice centers on the line, developed through successive series that combine continuity and renewal. From dense and rigorous works to more liberated yet controlled gestures, his research unfolds across drawing, sculpture, installation, and painting on canvas, using materials such as polystyrene, acrylic, and elastomer.
